Company Profile Cubic Homes Limited intends to breathe new life into the stagnant Housing sector that avails in Nigeria today.  Cubic Homes’ mission is to provide fresh solutions to the various problems facing the Nigerian Housing sector (both public and private). Cubic Homes was established to take advantage of business opportunities identified in the Nigerian Construction industry.  A survey of the industry identified the key buyer values of developers within the industry as optimization of project cost, relatively short project duration and good quality work in respect of construction services.  Nigerian construction companies have been unable to effectively address these buyer values.  The demand for construction services has therefore fallen for the following reasons: •    Cost of executing projects has risen dramatically.  Project costs have risen for various reasons including rise in cost of building materials. •    Quality of building by smaller construction companies, whose services are cheaper, is sub-optimal due to lack of skill and appropriate technology.  However, use of medium and large-scale firms results in significantly higher project costs, although the quality of their work is better. •    Nigerian construction companies execute construction mandates via the traditional hollow-block construction technique, resulting in significantly long project duration. The Cubic Homes Production Plant Cubic Homes has established its production plant in Idu Industrial Estate, Abuja, Nigeria.  This production plant creates employment for Nigerians. The production plant has the capacity to build panels for 4500 low-cost housing units (2-bedroom bungalows) per annum.
